Garuda is the great winged guardian — the divine mount of Vishnu and a symbol of courage, protection and freedom. Known for his strength and unwavering devotion, he carries an energy that feels both powerful and watchful: a presence said to rise above fear and guard against harm. Bring a little of that strength into your space.
Hand-moulded by a National Award-winning Cheriyal artist from Telangana, this decorative wall bust continues a tradition rooted in the Kakatiya and Vijayanagara dynasties. Shaped using the traditional Cheriyal process — moulding, drying, detailing, smoothing and hand-painting — from a mixture of sawdust, tamarind seed paste, rice starch, khadi cloth and white mud.
No factories. No machines. Ever.
Being entirely shaped and painted by hand, each piece carries small natural variations — its own quiet signature of being made by hand. Designed with a hanging loop at the back, it is ready to mount as a striking standalone piece or alongside the rest of the Cheriyal mask collection.
