Our bird diya sits on a flared pedestal coiled in fine brass thread, with a zigzag band around the base. The extra height lifts the flame to eye level, where it’s seen and not just glimpsed.

Make it the centrepiece of a Diwali table, or place a pair at either end of a console. It holds its own on a shelf all year round.
