The diya is at the heart of every Indian celebration. It is lit at dusk, at puja and through the nights of Diwali, to bring light into the home and drive away darkness. The lotus, sacred to Goddess Lakshmi, is a symbol of purity rising in grace.

Our Lotus Diya brings the two together. Each diya is carved by hand from a single block of white marble into an open lotus, with a deep, polished brass bowl set into its heart. When lit, the flame glows warm against the gold, and the light falls softly across the white stone. Natural veining makes every piece unique.
