Hand-painted by our master artisan's family workshop — a craft house established in 1890 — the wide domed lid lifts cleanly, the dish holds a full block of butter, and the whole thing looks extraordinary doing it.

On soft mint green: crimson peonies, navy butterflies, white star blossoms and dark branching stems — folk art at its most alive, painted entirely by hand.
